1.8 The Site may include applications or plug-ins (“APIs”) that enable you to link to third-party websites (“Third Party Sites”) and extract personal information about you from these Third Party Sites, using data and developer tools provided by them. You are responsible for evaluating whether you want to access or use a Third Party Site or APIs. We recommend reviewing the applicable terms and privacy policy of a Third Party Site or API before using it or sharing any information with it. 1.9 In addition to the above uses, we may disclose, sell, and/or transfer the Site, Services, and/or all data we collect through them to a third party who acquires all or a significant portion of Production Pack Studios’ business. We may also disclose your personal information to our related companies. In case of a sale, transfer, reorganization, or other disposal, your details may be part of the transferred business assets and may be shared with our advisors, prospective purchasers, and their advisors.

2. What Information Do We Collect, How Is It Stored, and Why?

Production Pack Rentals collects information from you when you register an account to do business with us, submit a Kit Enquiry/Wishlist through our website, subscribe to our mailing list, or visit our offices. The details of these processes are outlined in separate sections below:

2.1 Account Set-up: To offer the high level of service we strive for and operate as a Rental Company, we collect and store the following information as part of the account setup process with Production Pack Rentals. Some or all of this information may be classified as personal data:

  • Contact Name
  • Company Name
  • Company Registration and VAT Registration Number
  • Address
  • Phone Number
  • Email Address

We may also collect:

  • Information about your computer hardware and software, which we may use to diagnose server problems, administer our Site, and analyze usage. This information may include your IP address, browser type and version, domain names, operating system and platform, access times, referring website addresses, browser plug-in types and versions, and your location if you access the Services from a mobile device (note that most mobile devices allow you to prevent location data from being sent to us).
  • Other information about your use of our website, such as the areas you visit, the services you access, your requests or inquiries about our services, or any information we may request to improve the website and/or the services.

When setting up a new credit account, Production Pack Rentals will also collect information on the name, address, email, and phone number of two trade references. These references will then be contacted to obtain the following information:

  • Length of business relations with you
  • Monthly credit limit
  • Timely payments

For individuals, freelancers, or start-up companies that cannot provide satisfactory trade references, Production Pack Rentals will require:

  • Photo ID, which will be securely stored for the duration of the first hire in a locked cabinet within our offices. Afterward, a scanned copy will remain with the rest of the account information.
  • Copies of 2 utility bills as proof of address.

Once the account is set up and created, this information will be stored as a hard copy in secure locked cabinets at our offices, and a digital copy will be encrypted, password-protected, and stored on our server. This allows us to access and verify details when hires occur. This information will be retained for up to 3 years after your last hire with Production Pack Rentals, unless otherwise
