Responsibility: During the entire rental period, you are responsible for the equipment. It is essential to exercise utmost care, ensure proper usage, and protect the equipment from adverse environmental conditions. In case of technical issues, contact us immediately. Do not attempt repairs without our express consent. Only our certified profesionals can operate our equipment.

Insurance: For rentals under €10,000, you may opt for our insurance at a cost of 20% of the net hire charge. You remain liable for the excess in case of damage. This insurance fee will be automatically added to your invoice unless you provide your own insurance documents before equipment release. For rentals exceeding €10,000, you must secure your insurance coverage.

Vehicles: Never leave equipment unattended or unlocked in a vehicle.

Exclusion of Liability: Our agreement explicitly excludes our liability for property damage or economic losses, such as loss of profits, to you or any third party. If such concerns you, consider obtaining insurance coverage.

Minimum Hire Charge: Please note that a minimum hire charge of €35 + VAT applies.
Definitions
In these terms and conditions, “Production Pack” refers to The Production Pack Ltd (referred to as ‘the Company’), located Limassol Cyprus. The terms ‘Hirer’ or ‘Customer’ denote any person, persons, or body corporate engaging in a rental agreement with Production Pack for goods and equipment hire.
General
These terms and conditions shall be the basis of all hire contracts with Production-Pack. Contracts are formed upon agreement via a Rental Agreement form and the handover of goods by Production-Pack in accordance with the Rental Agreement.
No variations of these Conditions of Hire or terms herein and no conditions in any order, acceptance, or other document issued by the Hirer shall become part of the Contract unless explicitly agreed to in writing by the Company.
Each hire constitutes a distinct contract, separate from other hire agreements.
The Hirer agrees to fully indemnify the Company, its employees, servants, and agents against all losses, damages, claims, costs, actions, or other liabilities arising from equipment, materials, or services supplied by the Company.
The Agreement and these Conditions shall be governed by Cypriot Law, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of Cypriot Courts.
Booking/Orders
- Quotations provided by the Company are non-binding.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse any order without explanation.
- Orders can be placed verbally or in writing and become binding upon agreement, subject to written cancellations as per these terms.
- The Company may subcontract part or all of the Customer’s order and assign or deal with the Company’s interest in the Equipment.
Period of Hire
- The hire charge period is calculated in calendar days. Equipment may be accessed by the hirer after 4 pm the day before the hire period starts and must be returned by 11 am the day after the hire period.
- The hirer assumes all responsibilities and liabilities for the equipment upon access or departure, as per these terms.
- The Customer must obtain a receipt for equipment return from the Company, signifying its return but not waiving any outstanding obligations.
Delivery & Collection
- The Hirer is responsible for collecting equipment from the Company, bearing all liability for agents, employees, or subcontractors acting on their behalf.
- If equipment is delivered or collected by the Company, the Hirer assumes risk and expense. The Customer is liable for loss, damage, or delay from the time equipment leaves the Company’s premises until its return.
- The Customer must provide adequate access, unloading space, and facilities when equipment delivery or collection is involved.
Equipment, Title, Risk & Insurance
- The Company strives to deliver equipment in good order and condition, but it is the Hirer’s responsibility to confirm its condition upon possession.
- Any defects or issues must be reported to the Company immediately and noted on the rental agreement.
- The equipment remains the property of the Company, and the Hirer has no title or interest, except as a hirer under these conditions.
- The Hirer may not sell, assign, mortgage, pledge, underlet, or otherwise deal with the equipment without written consent from the Company.
- The Hirer may not take the equipment outside the CY, engage in hazardous activities, or deviate from regular scheduled flights without written consent from the Company.
- The Hirer must cooperate with the Company for equipment recovery during or after the hire period.
- The Hirer may opt for the Company’s insurance (charged at 20% of equipment hire total) with a €500 excess. A copy of the Company’s insurance policy is available upon request.
- With the Company’s insurance, the Hirer accepts the Unattended Vehicle Clause. The Hirer must comply with the Company’s Policy of Insurance in the event of a claim.
